Great show, but expensive
Watched this show with my daughter and we both enjoyed it. Picture quality was excellent and as always with any Nat Geo program it was a top notch production. Love not having to watch commercial interruptions every 5 minutes or pop up ads during the program. I have given up on network and cable programming for this very reason. Just wish a 45 minute show was a little more affordable, would do this more often.

In Thailand, but Not of Thailand
When prostitution is presented in media coverage from Thailand, one sees foreign men trying to get with Thai females. While this coverage takes place in Thailand, one police officer admits, "Many Middle Eastern men come here to pay for sex with white, Muslim women." So you really don't see Thais as buyers or sellers of sex. This was an intra-religious phenomenon taking place far away from prying eyes.

I think people who enjoy this episode should read the book "The Natashas" about the sex trade of Eastern European women. This mostly shows a hunt for three different pimps (of both genders) who trick and abuse these women into the trade. Some say Gibson's "Apocalypto" had no plot and was just a long chase movie. This is basically just hidden camera chasing too. You never hear from johns or see any naughty bits. It is informative to hear these women speak of being tricked and oppressed but also being too afraid to escape. This is informative, but many viewers may feel...
